Ep. 76 The Number One Thing You Should Do Before Making a Business Strategy for 2023
with Lani Jackson
Hey Brilliant Mompreneurs!
Are you ready to plan 2023? Before you do, let’s talk about the number one thing you should do BEFORE making a business strategy for 2023!
What is that thing? Auditing your business!
WAIT!!!! Don’t run!
I promise this isn’t the scary IRS kind of audit.
This audit focuses on evaluating what you did this year and using the data to maximize your efforts in 2023!
This is a GAME-CHANGER for creating a powerful business strategy!
“There is something to be said about auditing yourself in your business.
We’re not talking scary… we’re talking knowledge and empowering ourselves with data. Data over drama.
In this case, we’re going to have data in front of us that will enable us to maximize our impact for the next year.”
Discussed in this Episode...
Listen as Lani shares:
First you need to collect the data from your business.
What data do you need??
- Recurring Activities
- Assets (email lists, digital products, FB Group, podcast, etc…)
- Profit and Loss statement (income and expenses)
Second, evaluate the data and ask strategic questions.
- Do I want to keep doing this action or recurring activity?
- Do I need to stop doing anything that is not aligned or bringing me results?
- What can I improve in my process or strategy to bring me more results or impact?
- Do I need to bring in outside evaluation or help?
- Do I need to pivot my strategy or process?
